Over the years HVSC members have worn pins and patches showing their membership in the Club and Newsletter editors have adorned the flier with logos.   Some have been the result of contests, some by commercial designers, and some the creativity of the editor at the time.   Here are a selection of those bits of memorabilia which I have found.  If you have more, let me know.

Pin Design Contests.   Marion Saurez won the Pin Design Contest  in 1976 (see the pin above).  There was another contest around 1985 (does anyone remember who won that contest, or does anyone have a sample of the winning design?), but the winning design was too complex to be reduced and used for a pin, so Don Sinn's design has been used instead.

Notice that the 1986 pin design was adapted by Dan Desmedt and used (with some modification) as the Club logo ever since.  The direction of the skis was altered and later the sex of the skier.  After a year or so the male skier was restored. (At least to the "HVSC Newsletter"; observant members may have noticed the female version is being used on the "Membership Directories".)

I'm looking forward to filling more boxes with  other logos from the fifties, sixties, seventies and early eighties.  If anyone has a copy of any of these logos, please notify me and I'll get it on this page.
