Angie & Mike Wedding Party

Mike and Angie invited the members of Hudson Valley Ski Club to party following the January 17 club meeting to share the joy of their recent wedding.

Thanks to the members who joined us,  to DJ Ed Roberts for providing the music, to Al Mauri  for the photography, and to the Poughkeepsie American Legion Hall for allowing us to have the party there.

Hudson Valley Ski Club is and was so much a part of our lives and relationship that we actually had three wedding events -- the wedding itself (held in our home with just the wedding party), the reception a few months later and since we could not add the hundreds of members of ski club to the reception, we had a separate party at a ski club meeting with several large sheet cakes. (As a note of interest I had over-ordered so much cake that we could not eat a fraction of it and we took it to the hospital for the nurses to share -- one of our member/friends could not be at the party, since he was having open-heart surgery at that hospital at the time. Needless to say he was a very popular patient.)
